Dispatcher I Summit County is recruiting for Dispatcher I. Will work rotating shifts. Performs a variety of technical duties involving the use of radio equipment to dispatch various emergency response agencies, including: county sheriff, police, fire, animal control, fish & game and emergency medical personnel in response to county and community emergency and assistance calls. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school and one year of experience performing related duties. Must successfully complete dispatch certification school, BCI Technical Operator Class and become certified as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher within 12 months of hire date. Salary Range: $14.82 - $20.79/hr. May be filled by a Dispatcher II at $15.74 - $22.06 or a Dispatcher III at $16.71 - $23.42.
