The Highlands School District is accepting applications for an Executive Director of Business Affairs and Support Services. Successful candidate must be knowledgeable in budgeting, financial planning, cash management, federal and state reporting requirements related to school finance, school operations, bidding, fund accounting, taxation issues, transportation, school safety, food service, school construction, Right To Know Request compliance and the Sunshine Act. Responsibilities include; collective bargaining and contract administration, payroll, employee benefits, purchasing, insurance, investments, debt service, accounting, transportation, school safety and food service. Must be bondable.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Education, Accounting or similar related discipline. Masters Degree strongly preferred. Minimum five (5) years experience in a Pennsylvania School District as a Business Manager and/ or equivalent experience with business and administrative functions in a Pennsylvania School District, including at least three (3) years experience in a supervisory capacity.
