Hansford County Hospital District (HCHD) is currently seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve their facility. Located in Spearman, Texas, HCHD is a rural Critical Access Hospital and rural health clinic providing acute care to service the needs of the residents in Hansford County and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate for the Hospital CFO position will have three to five (3-5) years of acute care hospital finance experience in leadership positions, along with exemplary communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, and customer service in an economically diverse community.

They should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance; a Master’s degree and CPA certification is preferred but not required. Rural and Critical Access Hospital and Hospital District experience is preferred as well. Must be a strong, hands-on,

approachable professional and understand the value of being a team player. Must understand how to motivate and inspire staff to achieve optimal results, while keeping employee satisfaction high. The candidate must be ready to assist the CEO in positioning the hospital for the future. Hansford County Hospital District includes a 14-bed critical access hospital, a rural health clinic, a retail pharmacy, 84 bed nursing home, EMS, Physical Therapy, and hospice.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
