The Tri-City Herald is looking for an editor who can do it all -- strong coaching, solid line editing and proactive problem solving, all while keeping a cool head and a keen eye. This person is a newsroom leader with a strong editing and reporting background who is excited about our digital future.  We work in a hands-on, fast-paced digital-first news environment. Understanding digital tools and audience is vital. You will help manage website content and be actively engaged with social media (Facebook, Twitter) and video publishing.

Requirements:

  • A commitment to working with a team to cover our growing and diverse communities of Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco is crucial.
  • Good organizational, communication, customer service, watchdog, enterprise project and time management skills are a must.
  • Management experience required
