Pine Tree Pediatric Dentistry is a well-established family centered practice that prides itself as a leader in the field. We currently have two Dental Assistant opportunities open; you chose the right one for you. A Full-Time Role and Part-Time job-share role. Our dentistry office focuses on getting to know all the children that come to see us. And we take pride in providing quality care for children with special needs, our dental office features a private sensory room to allow a calm, quiet place for visits as needed.

As our new dental assistant your job duties will include:

• Chairside assisting
• Prophies
• Taking x-rays
• Sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Dental exam assistance with the Doctor
• Fissure Sealants

You will be joining a team that knows it is not always easy to convince kids to take care of their teeth, but our staff believes by making it fun and incorporating learning, it can become a rewarding part of a child’s daily routine. Schedule:

• Full-Time Dental Assistant: Monday – Friday 7:30am–4:30pm
• Part-Time Job Shared Dental Assistant: 2-3 days per week, 7:30am-4:30pm

Dental Assistant Qualifications:

• Current EFDA Certification, or a desire to obtain.
• X-ray Certification
• Professional and Personable
• Loves to work with children and the special needs population
• Computer proficiency

Pay: $25-$28/hour DOE

Location: SW Portland, right off the highway 26 Sylvan exit.
